Frequently asked

What is order flow in trading?

Order flow is the stream of buy and sell orders hitting the market — and, more usefully, where large institutions have built their positions. Reading it means seeing which way the biggest players are leaning before price fully reflects it, so you can trade with that pressure instead of against it.

What is COT (Commitments of Traders) data?

The COT report is a weekly CFTC release showing how the major trader groups are positioned in the futures market. Learn Orderflow reads the non-commercial — “large speculator” — net position, the closest public proxy for institutional order flow, across FX, metals and index markets.

How is the high-timeframe bias calculated?

For each market we track how large speculators have shifted their net COT position over the last three weekly reports. Steadily adding longs reads bullish; steadily adding shorts reads bearish. The result is one directional bias score — positive expects long, negative expects short.

Is Learn Orderflow free?

Yes. Every tool — the COT bias dashboard, position-size calculator, economic calendar, sessions clock, prop-firm model and live newswire — is free to use, and the Discord community is free to join.
